DELIVERY CHARGES: shipping and handling charges cover our expenditures for processing your order, packaging your merchandise to ensure its safety and all fees and fuel surcharges included in transportation costs.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Special orders may NOT be exchanged or refunded. Please note that this includes furniture, lamps, occassional furniture and garden seats. Island Home is not responsible for manufacturer delays or for slight color variations.
STANDARD DELIVERY: in-stock merchandise will be processed and shipped in 3-5 business days in most cases. Packages are shipped via our preferred carrier, UPS Ground. Large furniture items are shipped directly from the manufacturer, and are subject to different transit times.
EXPRESS DELIVERY: expedited shipment is available for customers who need their order in a rush. Costs vary greatly based upon weight and destination so please call for details.
FURNITURE SHIPMENTS: these are shipped via freight service. We will work with you and the freight company to make sure this process goes smoothly. Furniture orders are considered "Special Orders" and those rules apply to these orders.
RETURN POLICY: you have 7 days from receipt of item to request a refund. Please call or e-mail Island Home to request a return authorization code and let us know which items you are returning. We must receive the item within 10 days of authorizing your return. Return shipping charges are the customers responsibility. All items must be in original condition (that means unused, not soiled), all tags attached, and in original packaging to receive a refund. We have the right to refuse any return that does not meet our criteria for a refund. Shipping costs to you are NOT refundable, and will be deducted from your refund. Please insure all items you are returning.
DAMAGED ITEMS: we hate to think this would happen - BUT…..please call or e-mail Island Home immediately. You must keep the original packaging in which you received the item for inspection by ups or freight carrier. It is very important to keep the original packaging and packing material, otherwise, we can not file your claim. This must be brought to our attention within 3 days of receipt of item. After 3 days, we can no longer file a claim on your behalf with ups or freight carrier.
TAXES: we are required to collect sales tax for all florida-bound orders. Please let us know if you have a florida resale certificate, because that must be presented at time of purchase.
GIFTS: these are not refundable, but you may exchange the item within 7 days of receipt.
SALE ITEMS: Final Sale!! Sale items are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
